Our field teams ride alongside real users and record how bikes fail in practice — which components break first, under what load, and how far from an expert the rider is when it happens.

OUR INVENTION

The world's first back-pedal 2-speed

After years of watching cables snap in the field, we asked a simple question: what if there were no cables at all? The result is the world's first back-pedal 2-speed drivetrain, two gears and two chains with zero cables, where you shift by pedalling backwards for half a second and that's genuinely all there is to it. Nothing to snap, nothing to adjust, and nothing you need to explain to a rider who just needs to get to market and back.

We patented it because nobody had solved it this way before, and we're proud of it because it actually works in the conditions it was designed for. It also won the Eurobike Award Gold in 2024, which is the cycling industry's highest design honour — though the award matters less to us than the fact that it keeps riders moving when everything else would have stopped them.
